Senior sessions are some of the most special sessions I get the opportunity to capture. There is something so beautiful about documenting youth, the in-between of who you are right now and who you are becoming. These photos freeze such a special season of life in time.
My goal is to make sure these are not just photos you enjoy now, but photos you will cherish for years to come, photos you can someday show your future husband and children as a reminder of this chapter of your life and who you were in it.
"I don't know what to wear!"
Comfort and Confidence: Choose outfits that make you feel good, because if you’re comfortable, it will show in your photos. Avoid anything too tight, restrictive, or that you’ll need to constantly adjust, especially for sitting or movement-based poses.
Wear What You Know: Stick with outfits, colors, and styles you already love. This is not the time to try something completely new for the first time. If you do want to try a new look, like a spray tan, new makeup style, or bold outfit, test it out well in advance.
Stay True to Your Style: Choose outfits that reflect who you are. Whether your style is casual, dressy, sporty, or a mix, lean into it. You’ll love your photos more when they feel authentic.

"What should i bring?"
Your senior portraits should reflect the truest version of who you are. Think about the things you love most in this season of life and consider incorporating them into your session. If you love flowers, bring along a bouquet or choose a location where wildflowers grow freely. If you have a special truck or vehicle, drive it to your session. If you enjoy reading, bring your favorite book or Bible. If music is part of your story, bring your instrument along.
The possibilities are endless, your session should feel personal, meaningful, and uniquely yours. Think about the little things that make up your everyday life right now, and let’s incorporate them into your portraits in a way that feels natural and authentic.
you don't need to know how to pose!
Most seniors tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera at first, which is completely normal. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply be yourself.
You do not need modeling experience or know how to pose before your session. I will guide you naturally throughout the entire experience so nothing feels stiff or forced.
